That's not the Supra, its a Lexus LF-A. It will be a very exclusive high performance supercar by Lexus, the first Japanese car that can be called a 'supercar'.
I know, it looks very hot! Finally Toyota is getting it by making something that is hot AND real fast. But then, I'd rather save money and buy a more brute and 'manly' 2008 Nissan Skyline. Confirmed details are a twin turbocharged V6, seven speed sequential auto, atleast 450HP, handling to make a Porsche 911 go red in the face (Yes, that's right. In most of the spy shots at Nurburing, you will always see a Porsche 911 running along with it. This clearly shows which cars Nissan has its eyes on. The handling part was 'confirmed' by the project head of the 2008 Skyline) and last but not the least, quad exhausts . It might not be as pretty as the LF-A, but it will be one hell of a 'Japanese Muscle Car'. It will be a sports-car era in a few years. With the Japanese planning to bring the EVO, Skyline, NSX and LF-A. And the Americans will revive the Challenger and Camaro. All of it is just means good news for us. Here's a look at the cars I mentioned: Honda/Acura NSX: Mitsubishi EVO X: Dodge Challenger: Chevrolet Camaro: PS: All of the pics I posted are very very close to what production models will look like. Give respect, get respect.
The spy shot you posted is of the LF-A. I am VERY sure. And, BTW, there won't be any chances of a new Supra or a Pontiac GTO as some people think. If you'll see my last post, I didn't mention a Supra or GTO anywhere. Toyota confimed that they won't produce a Toyota badged sports car/supercar until atleast 2009-10.
Give respect, get respect.
