Aftermarket developer Brabus has shown us last year how it can transform the Mercedes-Benz S-Class into a mobile office by fitting it with numerous Apple products but this time, even the interior space has been invaded by these tech goodies. Brabus put in the same type of features in a Mercedes Viano. Featured on the Passenger van are the most advanced 3D entertainment technology and Apple gadgets such as an iPhone, iPod, MacMini and iPad, which control the equipment. It has also been fitted with a Playstation 3 and a Sony Bravia LED TV that uses a DVBT receiver, which is perfect for playing 3D games on.
The MacMini connects to the Internet, using UMTS and HSDPA, featuring WIFI connectivity. The van also has two electrically-powered luxury chairs, which are finished in Bordeaux Red and Grey leather. For further comfort, these chairs can recline into a sleeping position.
Similar to what Brabus typically does for the other vehicles it works on, the Viano was fitted with several exterior modifications as well as with certain powerplant developments. Consumers can choose from the various power upgrades available for multiple petrol and diesel engines in the Viano range. The V8 petrol engine, the range-topping unit, can deliver 426 hp and 621 Nm (458 lb-ft). It can accelerate from zero to 62 mph in 5.9 seconds and it can reach a top speed of 155 mph (250 km/h).
