The Camry without second thoughts!
Top 3 Reasons:
- Reliable
- Reliable
- Reliable
In addition, its cheap to service and fix! Great resale value.
The caprice is more luxurious, but the engine is bigger which means higher fuel consumption. Also, it starts having trouble as soon as the warranty mileage is over.
The litmus test I normally use to check car reliability is to ask the Taxi driver on what he thinks about the car he drives. Most drive Camry, and they love it. They drive the car in 2 12 hours shifts, i.e. 24 hours a day, and this car only goes back for normal oil, and tire, brakes service. These taxis do about 20,000-30,000 km per month.
The cab drivers driving Chevys or Fords curse those cars, as after 3-4 months they start breaking down.
WHere to find?
Well, this site is a good way to find whats available on the market. You could always go to the dealers directly, but its always cheaper to buy off a private seller who has taken well care of it. Just to remember, second hand Camrys sell off fast. If you see an ad, it will be gone within a few days if its priced at the normal market rate.
