Hey guys, hows it going? Just joined Autodealer.Ae and don't regret it one bit after reading through the forums. There's some good information here for the users.
Well, as the topic says yes they sell Toyota cars as well. Brand new and for less price than Al Futtaim and some cars have extra options too. For e.g. A friend recently purchased a FJ Cruiser (Full options) from GCC for AED118K. Al Futtaim's price is AED121K. GCC also gave bluetooth handsfree car-kit with it, which isn't offered by Al Futtaim. Similarly, all car dealers have their parallel importers in Sharjah. All of them brand new straight from the factory.
Couldn't resist when I read on the of the posts in here about a Prado loosing the front bumper and Al Futtaim quoting high .
Thanks & Regards

GCC stands for Gulf Commercial Co.
Location: After crossing the Sharjah City Centre, there is a flyover. Don't climb the flyover but take the round about under it and keep going straight. Once you pass the round about get into the layby/filter lane and you will see a bight red board Crystal Plaza. They sell chandliers and lighting equipment. Enter the same building and I think from the 2nd floor onwards they have a couple of offices there. You should be able to get the info from the reception. Let me know if you need anything else. I dont work there but the guy who bought the FJ works for CBI and knows lots of people there...

ok..but who are they?
Are they a grey-market importer? Import from Oman, or where?
Also, the big thing about importing new cars is that warranty and the other perks you get like some free services, etc.
How does it work with GCC?
The other grey-importer which is Dynatrade, that get cars from Oman, they have a full workshop in Rashidiya and allegedly provide the same warranties and services as Al-Futtaim.

I believe GCC & Dynatrade are the same owners or they have some sort of a contract. Because the FJ Cruiser comes with 1 free service which will be done by dynatrade. Also, GCC offers warranties same as Al Futtaim, and besides Al Futtaim have the same logic, since Toyota is a fast moving car they do not offer free service.

Please avoid posting in old threads. This one is from January and I don't think you'll get any desirable replies.
