Dear all,
Do you know why secondhand Chryslers are so cheap? I know that american cars are loosing their value faster here, but it seems to me that Chrysler loose it extremely fast. I have never had a Chrysler, but I like that cars. Do you think I should not buy a secondhand Chrysler?
Thanks in advance for sharing your experience/knowledge.
Regards,
Peter

Depends on what model you are buying. The Sebring is generally very reliable in the long term. Other models, not really sure.

I am thinking about Sebring or Concorde. I like them very much, but I am affraid that I do not know something what couses the low price. 2001-2003 models you can find around 20000 Dhs...

The only thing you need to worry about is resale. Apart from that, they are well-rounded vehicles. I recommend the Sebring over the Concorde.

Thank you very much for your replyes T.N.T.
What about fixing if something is wrong. The parts are not extremely expensive?

No they aren't. Its just a myth that American cars are expensive to mantain. Parts are available all over the region and are only marginally expensive compared to the likes of Toyota.

Because "I heard" that the only road you will drive your Chrysler when it is 5 years old is the workshop road.

Chargers are very reliable. Truly. I love them too so my opinion might be biased as I only listen to the good comments made by Charger owners . I have a friend who owns a V6 Charger. He got it for 81k and is enjoying it, the only money he'll lose is on the resale I guess.
That said, you won't be having a problem with 1-2 year old Chargers.

I hate going off-topic but yeah the price seems good. But remember 2008 is almost here which makes it 2 years old. Try negotiating to 60k, if seller is too stubborn, buy it at 65k because 65k is good too.
Yeah, new V6 Charger costs 81.
